Hey there, thanks for your interest in Fever.
My name’s Chris Lefever. I’m a sports physical therapist of 10+ years local here to Colorado Springs. Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved here to Colorado to work for the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center back in 2021. After 5+ years serving Team USA, 3 Olympic Games (Tokyo, Beijing, Milan-Cortina) and 1 Paralympic Games (Paris), I decided it was time to jump into private practice — thus, Fever Sports Physical Therapy & Performance was born.
Aside from spending my entire career in sports, I am a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
I completed my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science (2013) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2016) at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania before moving to Houston, TX where I completed a sports physical therapy residency at the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute (2017). Later, I moved to Durham, NC where I completed a division 1 sports physical therapy fellowship at Duke University (2019).

In short, I know what athletes are looking for and how to get them there — and should I not be the best fit for you, I know someone who is. Up until now, Colorado Springs hasn’t had many options for real sports physical therapy. I look forward to changing that.
If interested in working with me, go ahead and click “schedule” at the top of this page to see my openings and pricing. On the fence? That’s okay — go ahead a book a 15 minute “discovery call” to talk shop with me.
I look forward to meeting you!
